wd 45 headlight conversion

have a wd45,want to convert the head lights to a sealed beam 12 volt, need a bulb number or sealed bulb, had a pair of 6 volt given to me. tractor is changed too 12 volt already, pls forgive me it's not pure but it works for me..
pls help

A few years back, (about 10) I took a pair of those rubber work lights and cut the backs off them and trimmed them to fit in the original headlight housings. I had intended to do something better later, but later hasn't made it yet. Plus, it doesn't look bad.

thanks for the info, I searched some more and found a site that listed sevral bulbs to try
he suggested with the 1156 and moved up to a
1195 this bulb is the 12 volt version best i can tell of the 1133 6 volt.
1195 is 50 candle power and rate at 36 watts
12 volt ,same base and all will try it to see how long it last

If the orignal lights are not seeled beam they cannot be converted. Just buy a set of standard 12 volt backup light bulbs and put in. If already changed to a seeled beam light just change the bulb, seeled beam.

If you have 6 volt sealed beam bulbs that fit and are good you may want to just install them and wire them in series. I have a WC that has been that way for over 20 years. No reason to buy new stuff if you have good old stuff. Good luck, Gordon in IN
