hd5 hd6b Dozer bottom

Hi I have a allis HD5 and an HD6b, are any of the bottom parts interchangeable ,it looks like the transmission,rear,finals and most of the track stuff rollers etc.are the same but I hate to tear it apart only to find out they are not.

Yes, they interchange. HD6 is basically just an HD5 with a Buda 344 four-stroke engine, instead of a Detroit. You've just got to watch track lenghs. Early HD6Bs have 33 pads per track, and later ones have 34. HD5s can be 33 pad or 37 pad - but HD5Bs are 33.
