I just purchased an old tractor from a fella who didn't know what he had. Literally. He thought it was John Deere, because someone had painted it green a few years ago. It turns out to be an AC model CA, with the hand clutch. Upon a closer look at this thing, it has the curved front axle, as used on the B model. All of the CA's I've seen to date have the straight front axle. Just wondering if anyone else has found this before. The tractor's numbers are S/N CA21767 and Engine No. CE68343

The B axles show up on C's and CA's from time to time. They are not factory, just someone piecing an old tractor together....it is a pretty easy swap....steering can be a bit weird. You lose the front width adjustment to match the rear tho.
