Just got my second tractor, a 1940 WC. It's in it's original work clothes. I believe all the original decals are there as well. PO says it needs a carb cleaning/rebuild and a new sediment bowl gasket. Also seems to need a muffler, as the PO isn't sure where it's laying at the moment. I'd imagine it will require a tune up and fluids change as well. It's a one family tractor, always shedded. I know nothing about AC tractors. My other is a Ford 2N.

Where did you pick up this WC?

It was local in the Thumb. Saw the ad on craigslist. Also got a Gleaner Model S combine, Oliver Superior 26 drill, and Plowmaster 2 bottom.

That be a 30 or so HP tractor. Not to bad of an old machine. A few weeks ago I hauled in a WC parts tractor but at least its will not go to the scrap man even if all it is good for is part.

Yeah I realize it's not as useful as say a WD, but it'll give me another toy to play with. Maybe I'll take it up to the local fair and pull with it.

I don't think you understood what I was saying about the WC I hauled in. the one I have is way to far gone to be able to be fixed. Has no sheet metal, as in no hood etc. I got it because I need some parts for my W speed patrol and they use a lot of the same parts
