my tractor has hoses that run from the back of the tractor and run up to a metal bracket...that is where u plug in the hydraulic hoses for an implement. the brackets have became bent and my question is can you eliminate this? I have seen some 185's with just a straight outlet comign out of the back of the tractor. thanks for your help.

Yes, you can eliminate them if you want to, and just plumb your outlets directly into the fitting where the hoses currently hook to. But If it was me, I would fix the ones you have now, they are a lot nicer to use!

Those are called -breakaway couplers- I think; you have to slide the outer ring in insert hose end and let the outer ring slide back to get proper couple ;early ones come out of the back of the sheet metal piece they are made tight ;it would take alittle sheetmetal +plumbing but it could be done
