does anyone know where i can get the notched flush-head bolts for the slats on a #73 plow? the parts list i have says the upper ones are part # 924148 (GR. #5) 3/8NC x 1 and the lower ones are # 913512 3/8NC x 1 1/2. i would need 9 of the upper bolts and 15 of the lower bolts (the first slat takes the same size of lower ones)

I have 15 of the short bolts that are for the AC 9000 slat bottom plow. I can not see the number on the box so they might be the same. E-mail me and I can send a picture of them.

To my knowledge there is no supply of those bolts other than old stock. Check with venders at swap meets etc or place your request over at the other Allis site. A way around finding correct bolts that I have used is to use the clip head bolts as sold for aftermarket shares like Osmundson. They will stick up above the shares but snug the nuts first then give the heads a good whack with a 4lb hammer and tighten the nuts. Whack again and tighten then grind the rest of the head flush.
