I am considering purchasing a 1950 WD with a narrow front end. The left rear tire is scrap and it has not ran in nearly ten years. It comes with a 60" cutter and they are asking $500.00. Is this a good deal? Should I pass this one up. Any opinions would be greatly appreciated.

if the motor isnt stuck . it could be a heck of a deal to me anyway! i paid $95.oo for a tire and rim for mine last summer. my neighbor bought a tractor once that had a stuck cylinder and pour a penetrating oil in the cylinder and when we pulled it to his house he popped the clutch and it broke loose. it's his favorite tractor. plus the bushogif in decent shape should at least be worth $150.oo to 200.oo. good luck ! if it's been kept inside it's a plus. clean off the electrical connections!

All depends on how much work you feel comfortable doing yourself. If the motor is free that makes a huge difference to me. Tires can be had reasonably. I paid $125 for a rear tire that was like new at a tire shop and they included patching my tube and mounting. Hope this helps, Brian.

Sounds like one I bought. Mine had a stuck engine. I bought a bush hog for $200 and got the Tractor for hauling it home. I found some old tires for free and used some old belting to line the inside of one tire. They are fine for cutting grass.
