I have found two threaded holes in the top of the transmission case, but they are threaded and don't go all the way through to form a vent. Isn't there supposed to be an air vent someplace? Thanks.

the transmission is used on teh B and C tractor also. there is a wire to the rear tail light from the llight switch that lays on the top of the trans case. there is a sheetmetal track that covers the wire and two small screws to attach... the transmission breaths thru the shift lever boot.
