D14 rim swap

I need to know if rims and tires from a AC "A" or "E" combine will fit on a 1960 D14. I realize that I loose the adjustment, but right now it is not an issue.

Second question, In the future, I may go back to the spin outs, would I then somehow be able to use the combine rims/tires as a set of dual tires for the D14?

They will bolt right on. Might work for dules with some changing. I have JD 4400 wheels on my D17.

Are the JD 4400 rims and tires 26 inch? Will the JD 4400 wheels and tires fit my D14 bolt pattern?

Are these JD 4400 tires more redialy available than the standard 26 inch tires?

yes 8 bolt fit right on. 18.4-26" tires are a little big for a D14 Smaller tires off an E would be the right size

I found some 14.9 x 26 rims and tires for $100, tires are worn, but probably ok for my needs. The guy said they were from a A Combine, are the A and E rims the same?

If you are checking dimensions by phone, etc, rather than using a cutout of the bolt pattern- ask the seller what the inside of the wheel center hole measures, (probably about 8 inches) and measure the bolt spacing, center to center. If it matches the tractor wheel, it should fit fine.

A rim might be 1" wider but for you are doing it won't make any difference
