What would cause an AC 190-XT gears not to engage in cold weather?I can crank it and it runs fine .Now we have an ice storm ,I put it in gear and it moves about 6 inches and stops. It is 20 degrees now but any other time at same temp it does fine. Can any one give any ideas?

Its probably the POWER DIRECTOR. It is on the steering cicuit. Does the steering work ok? You may not be getting hydraulic pressure.

You might have some ice/water in the power divider which if you do would keep it from moving.

Also called the high low shifter on the right fender. It works by way of hyd pressure and if it has water/ice in it you could be have a hyd. pressure problem
