disk bearings

I,ve got a Allis-Chalmers NO.20 disk with gang bearings that are shot, the local Allis dealer quoted me a price of 176.00 per bearing, I thought that was a little high. Does anybody know a differant place to get them from?

I rebuilt a gang of discs for a WHITE 27 and I found all the parts at AGRI SUPPLY. Hope this helps...

Yes they are the BalPak bearings. I guess I"d better start looking for some used ones, cause I only paid $100 for the whole disc. Thanks for the info.

If those are the BalPak bearing the price you were quoted is correct and they are an OEM only item. Rarely, you will come across some NOS but most likely you will be looking for some good used one from some of the guys that have parted out disks.
