B tie rod repair - help Dick L!

I know this was posted before but for some reason I can't find the original. Mebbe the 'puter is smarter than me today.

I remember reading about a technique to tighten up the tie rod ends. Seems like injecting silicone or something. Can someone tell me what you use, did you flush the grease out of the end first, and do you greae them afterwards?

I have read several times that people have been successful in tightening them up with silicone. (I have used the find a good one method.) I have never tossed a bad one in the scrap, which Dixie doesn't understand, so I might try the silicone some time. Urethane would be a stronger thing to put in rather than silicone.
