Morn'n Y'all,Been awhile since I've had the opportunity to look at the forum (triple-bypass and cancer surgery sorta took the wind out of my sails for most of last year, but the doc says the ol' ticker is now doing what it should, and the cancer is no longer a problem and my wife is still beautiful and life is good.) There's been some changes I've had to make in the last year, one of which is trying to find something a little easier to work with on our 10 acres in southwest Michigan. I had been doing it all with a great little C. It's just become too much to do all the mounting and demounting of the belly mower, plow, and cultivators, not to mention that in our neck of the woods, it's lake-effect snow season now (and cold-I'm on the road this morning in Houston and Nancey tells me it's 9 this morning at home)and so we've, reluctantly, decided it was time to replace the little C with something that is a little easier to handle. Suffice to say there is a small, compact tractor with a loader and 3 point hitch now doing our work and making life easier. I have the little C and plow for sale (and will throw in the Continental Belly Mower; the pinion gear has some stripped teeth when the bearings failed and I haven't been able to find a new pinion or gearbox to replace it, but perhaps someone else can), but I'd like to give the cultivators away, FREE OF CHARGE, to anyone who wants to drive to our home and get them. That's how I got them from another Allis-Chalmers lover who lives in Canada, and I'd like to pass them on. There is a complete set with parts from another set, so plenty of spares, plus I have the manual. They'd need some cleaning and painting for show purposes and the fenders are really rusted and would have to be replaced (I never used them, but have them), so they are here if anyone wants them. We live outside the little town of Eau Claire in Southwest Michigan about 5 miles east of St. Joseph/Benton Harbor on the Lake and 15 miles north of South Bend, Indiana. I'm on the road till the 24th, will be home a week or so, then back on the road again. The nature of my regular job keeps me going, so we'd have to make some arrangements.
