I Recently bought a nice D10 from a neighbor, but the gas tank is mashed in on top where a tier rail fell on it. Any one know where I can get a fuel tank, I have'nt had any luck finding one so far. Also would a
CA or one of the other Alice Chalmer models be a match for it? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Everette

I have a D-10/I-400 tank , sitting on a shelf, indoors in central MD. Outside of the tank is painted yellow, inside of the tank is a blackish colored goo about 1-1/2" deep, and hardened. I would like to have $75.00 for it, as is, where is. (you come here, look at it, if you want it, you buy it.) If this project appeals to you, contact me here for further details.

Everette, that fuel tank is unique to the D10 and D12 tractors. They are around, but not as plentiful as those for the more common A-C's. I am not certain, but the tank from an A-C I-40 or I-400 industrial tractor may work, as they shared many common parts with the D10/12. I don't have a parts book on the 40/400 to know for sure. If you are not able to fix the tank as Dave mentioned, check your local tractor salvage yards. You might also place a Wanted ad over on the allischalmers dot com forum. Best of luck.

Can you cut the bottom out and beat or push the damage out, then reweld together?

Sometimes you have to come to extreme measures to fix hard to find parts.
