Getting ready to put a distributer and alternator on a WC. Anyone got the part # of the alternator belt(longer than just water pump belt)? thanks much!!

Have been using a Dayco DA 17460 successfully on the WD for the last year. 46" long by 5/8" wide, if I recall correctly. It's all the width that the alternator pulley can take, and is just wide enough for the sheave on the water pump.

Your results might vary.

Last one I did which was on a WD I used the same belt as I did for the generator. I did also take the pulley off the genny and put it on the alternator and so far it has worked just fine and that was 2 or 3 years ago that I did that
