I am new to the AC world. I have owned several Farmall/IH. I have found an AC 200 & was curious on if it is a good tractor & some pro's & con's that I should be aware of. Thanks for the help. Any info is greatly appreciated.

Real good tractor if it doesn't jump out of gear. Put it under load to check gears and also drive down a steep grade. If it jumps out then the price goes way down. Could be just shift rails then it's a cheap fix. Last year a friend of mine found a 170 that jumped out of gear. He bought it for $1,100. He then found somebody to repair it ( needed a couple new gears and collars). That cost $1,800. Now for $2,900 has has a tractor worth twice that. He loves it.

Hello!!! I own a 200 and have ran a few, they are good tractors ,but seem to have transmission issues [ie jumping out of gear] ,also the power director linkage seems to give trouble;that is an easy fix though, how many hours are on it ?
