Scott, the plate with the serial is were it shows on Pecoallis's photo. I also have sheet showing the breakdown of serial numbers relative to year of manufacture. Mine is D5554 and is a 1959 model. It has the same G226 gas engine as the D17 farm tractor. Pecoallis they sure can push a lot of snow when they are chaned up. I have enough chains for all six wheels but we have not had enough snow in the last four years to even bother starting it up. Out here on the wet coast at sea level our moisture is usually rain unless it coincides with a cold front and then I can play in the snow with the grader.
