My story isn"t tractor related, but could be. Doesn"t it feel good when you get a lot of hours out of a machine? Just bought a carb for an old 12.5hp Kawaski on a walk behind 44" mower that Dad bought in 1988. Mower has been through many hourmeters, and best I can tell it has 9,000 hours on it. The new carb was to replace the old one, it was just plain worn out. We have several of these engines that have 6,000+ hours on them and have never been apart and don"t use oil. Some of my guys are younger than the mower! Of course the other side is I have two newer Kohler twins that puked the cam gear after 800 hours last year. Share your high hour stories if you want, I like to see them.
