My 3 cylinder john deere which I have not repaired yet pulled in a lot of chaff from weed tops last year while I was ploughing.I cleaned it all up;rad and all, left it set all winter. It starts and runs a bit better now but not all three cylinders are firing properly it seems. It lacks some power and runs rough.I noticed their was no air filter on the intake to the oil bath filter air intakee filter. My question now May it be possible air is still the problem if this chaff carried further into the engine? At the time black smoke blew out the stack and power loss wass severe.I limped it back to the garage.I also checked the injectors loosening one at a time. The front injector acts diffirently than the other two. What to do? Perhaps I simply have an injector problem.Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks
