Just this past Christmas I had bought my 3 year old son a John Deere model 70 pedal tractor, put the thing togther and he was happy as a lark. A couple days later I was putting it away for the night and the stearing shaft fell right out of the tractor(not somethig I put togeter but it came from the factory that way). So I called Ertl, complained a little they sent me a new one and told me to send the broke one back to them. Well I recieved my new one yesterday and as an excited 3 year old would be, I had to put it together last night, in the process of assembly the front axel/stearing assembly fell out of the new one just the same as the other. More calls and complaints today led me nowhere so far, thank God I still have mine from 25 years ago that he can ride that wa made in the USA the new ones say China stamped right on the bottom, I guess thats what kinda world we live in now. Any sugestions on what to do?
