Someone back in the spring either on this site or the N site asked about growing tomatoes in 5 gallon buckets up side down and several of us told of our experiences. Well this year I was going to plant two upside down and hang them by the shop. But the spring was so wet that I had tomato that needed transplanting and no where to put them. So I put a couple in the top of each hanging bucket, and the have done really well. They are still green and bushy one plant has 18 tomatoes and several blooms on it still here in the middle of Nov. While the ones that did get in the garden have been done for over a month.
