I dont have much more info on the tractor as far as its condition before restoration. I was told that when he matched the overhaul kit that the book called for with the sleeves and pistons in the tractor, the new ones were "smaller" and didnt match. My friend also said the tractor came from the original owner who bought it new but not till around 1955. This too seems like a wierd coinsidence for a 1953 tractor.
Ill try to find out more info.
