Thanks Big Don!, Have always wondered the HP rating on 474. Had figured around 40 or so at least. It has 3600 HR'S on motor and only prob can see is MAYBE low oil pressure..could be gauge I suppose. Do you know of a serial number site that might be able to show exact year?..SN 2310040B101498-X- Eng. SN 206DT2D151412 Have purchased operators manual and service manual and see that that should always be a must if you are going to own a machine. I am now thinking of getting into a restoration in the near future..something mild...say a cub to start with. Think it might be fun to be BIT!(lol) Once again thanks for the info and am sure will be back to this site in the future.
