It's not the dump valve it 's the shifting linkage there is a arm under the floor that is held in place with a 5/16 bolt and has a round end slotted hole that wears, the slack here can let it jump back into reverse when going to park, which puts you into park and reverse at same time, you can weld the arm to the shaft and fix it or remove the cover and replace the shifter and arm, if you weld it you will not ruin anything that won't be normally replaced anyway I've worked for CaseIH 10 years fixed many this way
