Thanks for answering. So, what is the purpose of a subsoiler? I had my garden plowed (by a neighbor) 2 years ago and then I just roto-tilled it last year. But, the tiller didn't get very deep so I had trouble planting some things. I'm getting ready to buy a small tractor and was wondering if I need a plow or a subsoiler. Would it work out to break it up with a subsoiler and then till it? Thanks.
