Hi. I dissasembled a 54x72 pole barn last summer and built up a tool that worked great. I took a large pair of end pincers, about 12 inches long, and put a slide hammer on one handle. the slide hammer has a slide on it of about 12 inches. I ground a small notch in the middle of the cutting edge as so to be able to grab around the nail rather than cut the nail off.Just grab the nail under the head, slam the hammer back a couple of times and the nail will come right out. You will be able to strip off the siding like the wind and will have no damage to the siding. When we put the building back together, after moving the parts 50 miles, I was able to use the original nail holes and it looked great. It also worked on the eve- trough nails. I hope this helps you out, Bill in Mich
