Just got off the phone with what I thought was a friend. Claims he bought a tractor 800 miles west of here last night. He wants me to haul it for him. I told him I do not haul for hire, he should look around for someone who makes a living at it. He informed me I had to. He would just buy my fuel. He said he knows I haul tractors because he has seen me doing it. I told him I haul my own junk and sometimes others around here close, but I do not haul over the road for other folks and I am not for hire. He really got hot and said he wanted me to do it this weekend. I do not owe this guy a thing...money or otherwise. Heck, I do not even know him that well. Reminds me of a city employee last year. Said he wanted me to cut some property in town...said the weeds were too high. I told him I do not do that...I have my own mowing to do...he got hot also. Heck, I do not have a city contract...don't want one. I hate pushy folks..don't mind doing a friend a favor, but hate pushy folks. Guess I am getting old.....
