I got the impression from a B450 that whoever designed them had three extra joints in his left leg to operate the clutch. There were only a few of them here in Ontario as everyone took one look and headed for Fords or Masseys. In the middle sixties there weren't many John Deeres around and the money exchange favoured British tractors in Canada. Nuffields and Brownies were favoured. Sorry to say, but the 450 was just a diesel w-6 that wouldn't start because of direct start where a WD-6 would start because of the gas start. The father of a friend of mine bought one with 800 hours for $1000 at a sale because no one wanted it and after a day on it, he didn't want it either. It sat in the shed for 15 years and then went for scrap.
