ok, the British Home Office is the same as an Interior Ministry, it deals with purely internal matters of the country, such as Policing and security, as against the "Foreign Office, or to give it its correct name the "Foreign and Commonwealth Office" which deals with all affairs out side the nations borders. Hope that helps...
