A few years ago, I went to my bils place in Plymouth. We cut down about 20 ash trees of varying sizes, all dead. Never seen any disease kill everything. Didn't know it liked maples tho. That could be a real problem as sugar maples are much more common around here than ash trees. I believe most ash trees in our area were planted as ornamentals.
