I am looking into consolidating tractors into one main work one. There is a Kubota MX5000 model that they have. Its 50hp engine, 44hp PTO. I can really use 4x4 because new fields we are working are wet soft meadeaw. I have a 30 acre property, 15acres in fields, 15 in trees. And a long driveway to snow plow. In the fields I use small disks, 2 bottom IH plow, a brush cutter, a 4' rototiller etc. I use them on my Super 55. These fit the MX 5000 well. But I also make squares bales with a 7' haybine (477NH) and bale with a smallish 276 NH baler. I use my 720 diesel for that. I want to restore the 720, so I need some time, many months. My main question is does the 44HP PTO of the Kubota cover off the needs of the haying implements? I dont bale fast, I bale slow with the 276, it seems to work better. I dont tow a wagon. I may be in soft fields where i need the 4x4 to get my butt out and that is why I am looking for light 4x4. Thanks
