Older Carb type. Been doing this along time. When cold, idle is normal. When warmed up has an exhaust sound like a valve out. Fum-fum-fum-fum. Rev up abit and is ok. Compression check when hot shows 160 to 180 in all 6. Pulling plug wires shows all are hitting. At idle engine shakes some. Revs up sweetly with no shake. Had this truck 23 yrs. 133K and still has factory set of Motorcraft belts. Bought a new Ford in 99 but just could not give this one away so kept for odd jobs. Any experienced comments would be of help. Thanks, LB. might add--- have changed plugs, coil, plug wires, dist cap, rotor, new carb, same fum fum fum out the tailpipe.
