Hi guys ,my bro has a Hahn Harverster ,,funny looking thing that strips the limbs off trees and chops em to length, lots a hydraulics and stuff ,Problem is ,last couple days different hydraulics on the rig will stop working and then start working again,it is Bloody cold round these parts right now ,around -10 F ,, certain rams will not work ,shut the rig down and after a few hours they start working again .I figure he's got water through the hydraulics system ,,but who knows ?? When stuff freezes where I work we pour alcohol in the lines to try and free things up ,this probably isn't smart to put into a hydraulic system is it ???
