Now that you have everything drained and the radiator repaired, its a good time to put in new anti-freeze. I would suggest that you install the new extended life anti-freeze for diesels made by Shell (Texaco). This is the red stuff. You won't have to worry about sleeve pitting or wearing the water pump seal out. I have this anti-freeze in all my diesels; most for about 10 years.
