You NEVER attempt to add refrigerant to the high side.If a proper legal retrofit was done with the 134a conversion snap couplers in place,then a cheapy add a can kit will only fit on the low side fitting. NEVER turn that can upside down and feed liquid refrigerant into the system,it will destroy the compressor valves. Make sure you have the proper tools(guage set etc) and know how to do this job. An exploded refrigerant can and a face full of liquid refrigerant can do you a lot of damage.
