On Canadian health care..Out here on the east coast we pay 10% provincial tax(Used to be called health tax) and 7% going to 6% federal tax(Thanks to our new prime minister) on FREAKING everything!!! Out in Alberta ,(The Texas of the north) they don't pay provicial tax.. We also have various service fee's that the province runs "more tax".. Yup I waited two years to see a specialist about a shoulder injury and 6 more months for operation ,, But when my Mother got a brain tumour they were able to diagnoss it from the time it took for me to drive from home to the hospital(20 minutes)and no worries about how we were gonna pay for the CAT scan or treatment(although there wasn't "Much" treatment in her case R.I.P. ,,Yes our health care system has many drawbacks ,and it is hard to get a family doctor in some areas. But for real emergencies it still works. And dental care is not covered for adults in my province(Nova Scotia)
