Dad and I work together in our repair shop. He"s the local fire chief, I"m the ambulance director. He"s been on the fire dept for 24 yrs, retired from the ambulance four yrs ago with 19 yrs. The year he retired, they made him fire chief. I"ve been on the ambulance 8 yrs, 5 as director. Our local fire dept is volunteer, the amb service is paid on call. Fire runs about 40 times a year with rescue calls. Amb about 200. We both really enjoy it, it"s fun to work with a bunch of people who are just there to do good. Brokenwrench
