I"m on cable so speed is not a factor. Streaming video on a dial up, I don"t think so. What I don;t like about buyer lets say from Dell, is that if you do have a problem with the machine, you have to ship it back. I get a new machine about every 3 years. As I can"t have much down time as my computer makes up my paycheck, I have a local build my machines. All quality parts and if the machine acts up, he usually gets me back up before the end of the day. Maybe a hundred $$ more than Dell but I also can talk to a real human right away and get the problem taken care of pronto. Good luck.
