I believe I have the Mopar, but my engine is straight up, not slanted. It has the timing belt on the outside of the engine, behind a plastic cover. The thought of throwing a small diesel in had crossed my mind, but to much work and money. Plus, I need the gasser so I don"t have to worry about the diesel gelling up everyday. Thanks for the info on the engines, I"ll try to remember it all
