The pin on my tractor was completely wore out. If your good, you can take some welding rod and build the shaft back up (just be careful not to damage the threads) It takes some time, but my steering works nice now, very little play in the steering wheel. I just kept cooling it down after welding on it so it didn"t warp the pin. With a good file you can keep shaping the weld so it will be nice and round. Hope that helps!
