I'm not much of an authority on red tractors, but that green one is a good one. Or at least it should be. I've got a 2440 which is just an updated 2030 (60 hp, 219 cu in wet sleeve diesel) It has great hydraulics, great hp to weight ratio. Like it has been noted, check to see if the coolant has been maintained. If it gets acidic, and there happens to be ANY dirt in the coolant, it will eat holes in the cylinder sleeves. ANY wet sleeve diesel will do that. The 146 Deere loader is a good, sturdy loader. (By the way!!! I'm shopping for one....hint) John
