I've seen those 5 cylinder Deutz in 2 ton trucks and easily go several hundred thousand miles, all while hauling big loads day in and day out!! My friend in Corpus C. Tx. had lots of them in there delivery bread trucks at the bakery he was pres. of.. They loved them, and also bragged about how they ran forever!!! They bought new Ford vans, replaced the ford motors with Deutz, and ran them for many many years, literally hundreds of thousands of miles.. If you saw one broke, "that's" the one that was not "average"!! Deutz diesels are up there with the best diesels ever built. Robert
