The Fenner stuff is expensive, but it is not new. We've been selling it for over 10 years. Gates also makes some called Nu-T-Link. It's been around longer than Power-Twist, and in my opinion, is easier to use. Browning makes standard rubber v-belting that is much cheaper, but the connectors to splice the ends together are very expensive. They usually come in boxes of 10, and cost well over $100/Box. These all work very well. The Gates & Fenner work better than the Browning. But Gerald is right; all these are made for "industrial" applications to replace A, B, C, & D belts. So you'll need to check your belt to see if an industrial section v-belt will run properly in your pulley. I don't know of anything like this specifically for "automotive" applications.
