We had over 8" of rain in May here in upstate NY and I have the most luscious crop of big red clover on the banks of my driveway where the clay is normally so hard you can't get anything to grow. There hasn't been any clover planted anywhere near here in years so I don't know where it all comes from. The second year after clearing the lot for my house, one section came in real heavy with the little white clover which I thought made a real nice lawn; the next year it was all gone.
