I think it was Winston Churchill who said that we were two nations divided by a common language! to answer your question, in the usa if you are not using round or big square (hesston) bales then here in the western states bales are picked up by a bale wagon,new holland or freeman,bales are just dropped from the baler and then the wagon comes along and picks them up and packages them, the wagon then transports them to the stack area where it tips the load through 45 degrees and pulls away forming the stack. The stackers are usually self propelled.
