The last WDs, and 45s had a constant mesh trnsmission and the ratios in it were just a little different. The constant mesh trnsmission had a curved shift lever, the sliding gear transmission a straight lever. I an not looking at the speeds right now, but this may explain what you are seeing. If you are looking at two tractors, could it be a difference in engine speeds?
