THE INTERLOCK IS NOT ENGAGED ON THE GEAR SLIDE RODS AND IT JUST SLIPS OUT OF HIGH LOW RANGE. YOU CAN ADJUST IT AT THE SMALL LINKEAGE MID RIGHT SIDE OF TRACTOR THAT MOVES WHEN YOU MASH THE CLUTCH PEDAL. NORMALLY YOU NEED TO LENGTHEN THE ADJUSTMENT BUT DEPENDS. YOU SHOULD ADJUST IT WHERE YOU CANNOT PULL THE SHIFTER OUT OF GEAR UNTIL THE CLUTCH IS DOWN 3/4 WAY TO THE FLOOR BOARD. THE INTERLOCK IS THE ONLY THING THAT HOLDS IN THE HIGH LOW RANGE GEAR SINCE THE SHIFTER HAS MOVED TO ANOTHER POSITION WHEN OPERATING. BEEN THROUGHT THIS AND BELIEVE ME YOU CAN FIX IT. DAN JOHNSON
