I don't know about that--I've spent LOTS of money over the years buying experience!! It cost me $100 to learn that a 0.002" undersize O-ring will not seal a hydraulic valve body, $50 to learn that there's a reason a Jeep transfer case won't slip back together without tightening the bolts, $400 in emergency room bills to learn to double-check that the "boy scout fire starter" you're using is a motor oil/diesel mix, not a motor oil/gas mix, etc. etc. etc! There's an old saying that a fool does not learn from his mistakes, a smart man learns from his mistakes, and a wise man learns from the mistakes of others. Hopefully threads like this one will move us all along the road to wisdom.
