Does anyone out there know about converting a 1030 from 540 to a 1000 rpm pto?. Iam asking this for a neighbor without a computer. They have a 730,930, and a 1030 and want to run a JD 3950 chopper with the 1030. Is this possible? The neighbors really like these tractors for their cheap prices and solid service - the 1030 is cheap HP and reliable.
