I wonder what people's definition of an "American" truck is? If it is 100% American parts, assembled in America, I'll bet it doesn't exist. My "American" truck is assembled in Mexico, by a German owned company. The Tundra is assembled in Ohio from parts probably made all over the world. Try buying an "American" only wardrobe - you're going to be awfully cold this winter in your birthday suit. The world is a much smaller place than it used to be. I'd go for whatever is the best quality that suits your purpose.
